51 houses ‘owner’ got 12 loans from MoF, witness tells court

A WITNESS from the Ministry of Finance has told the court that Charles Loyana, the man accused of being the owner of 51 houses in Lusaka’s Chalala area, obtained 12 loans from his employer between 2006 and 2016. Sharon Chunda, a senior accountant expenditure at the Ministry of Finance told magistrate Faides Hamaundu, who sat as Economic and Financial Crimes court, that the 12 loans which Loyana obtained amounted to K530,000. She also disclosed that 11 of them were car loans while the other one was a household loan amounting……
